JUNIOR SCRIMMAGES
Queen of the Court Format
AVA BEACH FRIDAY SCRIMMAGES:
Scrimmage #1 - Friday May 3rd, Scrimmage #2 - Friday May 17th, Scrimmage #3 - Friday July 5th, Scrimmage #4 - Friday July 26th
For intermediate and advanced athletes. Players from all clubs are welcome.
FORMAT:
Scrimmages are two hours long: one hour of Queen of the Court (QOC) format, followed by one hour of partner scrimmage play.
Queen of the Court is a really fun and great way to meet and play with new players. It is very fast paced and players learn to adapt quickly to new partners, as they are constantly switching partners.
Scrimmage play is a round of games with a chosen or assigned partner. This gives partners preparing for an event a chance to practice as a team.
Register as a single player (no need for a partner).
WHERE:
All scrimmages are held at Alki Beach.
WHO:
Players must be between ages 12-18 and have at least 1 year of beach volleyball experience.
Athletes will be grouped by age and experience level.
